Own Company, formerly OwnBackup and now integrated with Salesforce, is a leading SaaS data platform helping businesses secure, manage, and maximize the value of their critical data. As the company evolved beyond backup and recovery into a broader data management ecosystem, including products like Own Discover, the brand identity needed to reflect its innovation, growth, and expanded capabilities.
The rebrand transformed Own’s perception from a traditional backup provider into a modern, full-service data platform built around customer ownership, with a bold new identity centered on the message: Own Your Own Data.
Under the creative leadership of Brooke Glynn, I helped bring the new brand vision to life. My role focused on translating the identity into engaging, high-impact experiences across a variety of channels, including marketing collateral, editorial systems, social campaigns, and internal communications. I explored typography, layout, and visual storytelling to create flexible brand expressions that elevated the company’s voice and strengthened connection with both customers and employees. My work helped establish a cohesive, recognizable presence that supported Own’s transition into a broader SaaS data platform.
